León Belauzarán es un artista plástico que ha dedicado 48 años a la pintura, comenzando su trayectoria a partir de una convocatoria del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, donde obtuvo el primer lugar con una de sus obras. Este reconocimiento marcó el inicio de su camino en el mundo artístico.

A lo largo de su carrera, Belauzarán ha desarrollado una colección significativa dedicada a la representación de la mujer mexicana, la cual comenzó hace más de tres décadas. Antes de enfocarse en este tema, exploró diversos géneros pictóricos, incluyendo escenarios de mercados, flores, bodegones y paisajes realistas de Hidalgo, así como retratos de personajes indígenas. Su colección sobre la mujer abarca más de 150 obras únicas que reflejan su evolución artística y su profunda conexión con la identidad femenina en el contexto mexicano.

La obra de León Belauzarán se encuentra expuesta permanentemente en las galerías de prestigiosos hoteles como Nikko, Aristos, Sheraton y Camino Real en la Ciudad de México. Además, ha participado en exposiciones colectivas en lugares destacados como Jardín Borda, Posada Xochiquetzal y el Museo Rufino Tamayo, lo que demuestra su relevancia en la escena artística contemporánea.

León Belauzarán is a plastic artist who has dedicated 48 years to painting, beginning his career with a call from the National Institute of Fine Arts, where he obtained first place with one of his works. This recognition marked the beginning of his path in the artistic world.

Throughout her career, Belauzarán has developed a significant collection dedicated to the representation of Mexican women, which began more than three decades ago. Before focusing on this subject, he explored various pictorial genres, including market scenes, flowers, still lifes, and realistic landscapes of Hidalgo, as well as portraits of indigenous characters. Her collection about women includes more than 150 unique works that reflect her artistic evolution and her deep connection with feminine identity in the Mexican context.

León Belauzarán's work is permanently exhibited in the galleries of prestigious hotels such as Nikko, Aristos, Sheraton and Camino Real in Mexico City. In addition, he has participated in group exhibitions in prominent places such as Jardín Borda, Posada Xochiquetzal and the Rufino Tamayo Museum, which demonstrates his relevance in the contemporary art scene.
